28th Entry - New Year’s Eve partying

We didn’t have any plans for this New Year’s Eve, which meant I had no parties to panic about dressing up for, so we had planned a nice quiet night in, in front of the TV. That was before we got a phone call from our friends who own a local restaurant reminding us that they were having fireworks, so we decided to head down there around 11pm. Well I have never seen fireworks like it, but it was certainly entertaining to see our friends all running around the car park lighting rockets and spraying champagne in the air. There was a fair sized crown and it was such a great celebration, we really enjoyed ourselves (and I even had a cheeky glass of bubbly to toast the New Year).
